1. Close Minecraft before installing an update, then extract the downloaded ZIP.
2. Double-click Start Client.bat.

Setup updates one installed copy in %LOCALAPPDATA%\NotHortcoin\MinecraftClient.
It removes recognized older client ZIPs from Downloads, older extracted client
folders from Downloads/Desktop, and the previous registered client folder.
The newest matching ZIP and the folder you are running setup from are kept.

This opens the client window and sets it to open whenever Minecraft for Windows starts, including after Windows sign-in. No administrator access is needed.

Start Minecraft normally. Choose Turn on in the client window to activate the client.

To stop automatic opening, uncheck Open this window when Minecraft starts in the client window. The installed copy stays in one location even if you move the download.

WIP: targets Minecraft for Windows 26.52 / package 1.26.5203.0 x64. Native game compatibility remains untested. See START-HERE.md for features and limitations.

Updating an older copy: fully close Minecraft and the old client window first. Extract this copy into its own folder, then run Start Client.bat. Turn off does not unload an old DLL; a full Minecraft restart is required.
